The Effect of Job Stress, Work Motivation and Job Satisfaction on Employee Performance

Abstract

This study aims to determine and analyze the effect of work stress, work motivation, and job satisfaction on employee performance at PT. Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk. General Sudirman Branch Office. The population in this study were all employees at PT. Bank Negara Indonesia (PERSERO) Tbk Makassar branch office Jendral Sudirman as many as 153 people. The sampling technique used is simple random sampling. The sample number in this study was 60 respondents obtained from the solving formulation. The data in this study used primary data collected by distributing questionnaires to all respondents. The data analysis method used is descriptive statistical analysis, research instrument testing consisting of (validity test, reliability test), classical assumption test consisting of (normality test, heteroscedasticity test, multicollinearity test) and testing all hypotheses through a partial test, test Simultaneous and coefficient of determination test. The results showed that the work stress variable had a positive and insignificant effect on employee performance. In comparison, the variable of work motivation has a positive and significant effect on the performance of employees of PT. Bank Negara Indonesia Tbk. General Sudirman Makassar branch office. In comparison, the variable job satisfaction has a negative and insignificant effect on PT employees' performance. Bank Negara Indonesia Tbk. General Sudirman Makassar branch office.
