Abstract

The aim of this research is to find out and analyze how to improve the quality                                 of public services through Work Life Balance, Employee Engagement, Organizational Commitment at the Moncongloe District Office, Maros Regency, South Sulawesi Province. To apply this objective, data collection techniques were used through distributing questionnaires, with data analysis techniques using path analysis. The research results show that work life balance has a positive and significant effect on employee engagement, organizational commitment and public service performance. Employee engagement has a positive and significant effect on public service performance, organizational commitment has a positive and significant effect on public service performance. The results of the mediation test show that employee engagement can mediate the influence of work life balance on public service performance. Organizational commitment can mediate the influence of work life balance on public service performance at the Moncongloe District office, Maros Regency, South Sulawesi Province

From the results of the research and discussion carried out in the previous chapter, several conclusions can be drawn from the research results, namely as follows:
1) Work life balance has a positive and significant influence on employee engagement at the Moncongloe District office, Maros Regency, South Sulawesi Province.
2) Work life balance has a positive and significant influence on organizational commitment at the Moncon-gloe District office, Maros Regency, South Sulawesi Province.
3) Work life balance has a positive and significant influence on public service performance at the Moncon-gloe District office, Maros Regency, South Sulawesi Province.
4) Employee engagement has a positive and significant influence on public service performance at the Mon-congloe District office, Maros Regency, South Sulawesi Province.
5) Organizational commitment has a positive and significant influence on public service performance at the Moncongloe District office, Maros Regency, South Sulawesi Province.
6) The results of the mediation test can be concluded that employee engagement can mediate the influence of work life balance on public service performance at the Moncongloe District office, Maros Regency, South Sulawesi Province.
7) From the results of the mediation test, it can be concluded that organizational commitment can mediate the influence of work life balance on public service performance at the Moncongloe District office, Maros Re-gency, South Sulawesi Province.
